Job summary

Recovery Café of Clark County (RCCC) is seeking a Recovery Navigator to provide one-on-one recovery support to individuals within the criminal legal system and referred law enforcement. The role emphasizes outreach, long-term engagement, and person-centered decision-making.

Local candidates in Klickitat County are preferred. The position requires self-starter qualities, flexibility, teamwork, and experience with recovery support programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals facing barriers to recovery or who are/have been intertwined within the criminal legal system.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass a Washington State Patrol criminal background check.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Computer skills and current technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals at the referral location, establish rapport, and assess need to determine services.
• Support individuals with developing and implementing an individualized intervention plan and address barriers to recovery.
• Provide field-based responses, including travel to rural areas, with safety supports when needed.
• Transport individuals to services and accompany them to appointments or court hearings.
• Coordinate resources and prevent duplicative efforts by aligning services and histories.
• Understand community health and safety needs and represent participant experiences in stakeholder groups.
• Advocate for participants to remove barriers to resources and access to services.
• Connect individuals to a 9‑week WRAP plan or transfer to ongoing recovery program.
• Develop and maintain caseload files and ensure program/state documentation.
• Maintain daily documentation and monthly reports.
