Job summary

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare seeks a Recovery Counselor to assess clients across home, community, and office settings and plan individualized recovery paths. The role emphasizes advocacy, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches to support clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

You will document care, coordinate with nurses and pharmacies, and provide crisis coverage while promoting client independence and access to entitlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent clinical experience required.
• Licenses/certifications as listed (LPN, IAODAPCA certificates, OT assistant) or related credentials preferred.
• Experience in mental health settings and community-based services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients in home, community, and office visits.
• Coordinate recovery plans with client and care providers.
• Document services per policy and state requirements.
• Provide crisis/on-call coverage as needed.
• Educate on entitlements and support independent living skills.
• Assist with transportation and housing-related needs.
