Job summary

Ohio Support Services is seeking a full-time Community Re-Entry Specialist in Columbus, OH. You will supervise facility access, monitor client movement, and engage with clients to promote safe, constructive behavior.

Applicants should have strong English communication, good computer skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. This role requires readiness for overtime and a professional, courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

• Must provide a high level of courtesy and customer service.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including keyboard input and basic software use.
• Ability to operate Fire Panel and respond to alarms as trained.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all individuals entering and exiting the facility.
• Monitor client whereabouts to ensure safety and security.
• Engage with clients on a regular basis.
• Utilize cognitive behavioral techniques to promote healthy decision making.
• Maintain staffing levels; work overtime to cover a 24/7/365 operation.
