Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preference for advanced degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work with diverse residents and staff
• Attention to detail and protocol compliance
• Adaptability to evolving procedures
• Technical proficiency with automated systems and monitoring tools
• Team collaboration and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident behavior 24/7 to ensure compliance with rules
• Maintain secure environment through patrols, headcounts, and searches
• Conduct same-gender pat-downs and observed urine testing
• Distribute and monitor medications and controlled substances
• Track accountability during authorized absences and document communications
• Monitor GPS electronic monitoring for community residents
• Maintain facility sanitation and orderliness
• Control entry/exit and manage visitor procedures
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and agencies
• Maintain incident logs and act as information center for resident activities
