Job summary

MidPen Housing Corp. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of Station Center properties in Northern California. You will handle lease processing, income verifications, re-certifications, and turnover coordination while maintaining strong resident relations.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager, oversee fiscal activities, compliance, and facilities coordination, and ensure confidential handling of resident information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of residential property management, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; capable of managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedules income verification appointments, prepares and processes lease agreements, and maintains housing wait list.
• Assists in re-certifications, MORs, and TCAC reviews.
• Issues notices, schedules vacancies, and monitors turnover forms.
• Assists in rent collection, security deposits, and logs petty cash and deposits.
• Inspects property for maintenance and security issues.
• Supports relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Coordinates maintenance inspections with facilities staff and processes work orders.
• Maintains resident and property files with confidentiality.
• Communicates emergency procedures to residents and coordinates meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
