McCormack Baron is seeking a Property Manager in Washington, DC to oversee daily property operations, supervise site staff, and coordinate resources to achieve community goals and occupancy targets.

This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years’ property management experience.
• Customer service experience in hospitality or customer-facing industry required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with residents and community.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of an assigned property, including resident relations and site staff supervision.
• Oversee resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals, including budgets and collections.
• Operate according to MBM policies and the property management plan.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, community, and city agencies.
• Process HUD certifications and interview residents for eligibility.
• Ensure timely processing of all paperwork.
• Communicate with site staff regarding daily operations in writing and verbally.
• Attend owner/agency inspections as required.
• Review monthly financial reports and note variances.
• Hire and manage staff, including maintenance specialists.
• Meet with local, state, and federal representatives, residents, and vendors.
