Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management in a leadership role.
• Fair Housing knowledge; Fair Housing Certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Financial and business acumen with budget reporting experience.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and admin.
• Lead on-site staff: hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like Fair Housing and OSHA.
• Inspections and coordinate maintenance to keep move-in ready.
• Develop and manage budgets, track variances, AP/AR.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financials.
• Lead leasing: tours, applications, screenings, deposits, leases, move-ins.
• Build resident relationships and drive retention and engagement.
• Create and oversee marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Resolve resident, employee, and vendor issues with sound judgment.
• Represent CommonPlace professionally in community interactions.
