Job summary

BG Staffing is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a thriving residential community in Linden, Michigan. You will lead daily operations, drive occupancy, manage budgets, and mentor a high-performing onsite team, with support from regional leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily property management, strong vendor and capital project experience, and solid knowledge of Fair Housing. Proficiency with AppFolio, excellent communication, and a valid driver's license are required

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience leading a multifamily community.
• Experience managing office and maintenance teams.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, collections, and occupancy.
• Experience with vendors and capital projects.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AppFolio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the community with strong financial performance.
• Hire, coach, and develop onsite team.
• Drive occupancy through resident retention and service.
• Manage operating budgets and monitor expenses to maximize NOI.
• Review financial reports and collections to meet goals.
• Oversee curb appeal, inspections, and vendor management.
• Coordinate maintenance, capital projects, and turnovers.
• Build relationships with residents by resolving concerns quickly.
