Job summary

Lead For America, through the American Connection Corps (ACC), seeks AmeriCorps members to assist Village of Hope and local communities in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. Members will serve full-time for a year, gaining hands-on experience in digital inclusion and community development.

Benefits include a $33,000 living stipend, a Segal Education Award, healthcare, childcare, loan forbearance, and a fully funded ACC Winter Institute.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing program participants, volunteers, and community members.
• Attend planning meetings and community events to support program implementation.
• Assist with the Empowering Children Project by supporting program activities and engagement.
• Research community resources and potential partnerships to support activities.
• Help plan, prepare, and facilitate educational workshops and outreach.
• Prepare materials and resources for community events.
