Job summary

The American Connection Corps (ACC), an AmeriCorps program of Lead For America (LFA), seeks members to serve full-time with Village of Hope in Maryland. You will support program activities, engage community members, and help deliver educational workshops during a 12-month term totaling about 1700 hours.

Compensation includes a $33,000 living stipend, Segal Education Award eligibility, healthcare, childcare benefits, loan forbearance, and fully-funded Winter Institute, with nationwide support

Qualifications

• Be a US Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be 17 years of age or older by the start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps terms.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing participants, volunteers, and community members.
• Attend planning meetings and events to support program implementation.
• Assist with Empowering Children Project activities and participant engagement.
• Research community resources and potential partnerships.
• Assist with planning, preparation, and facilitation of educational workshops.
