Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. seeks an Activities Coordinator for a non-profit organization in Lakewood, OH to plan and run recreational, social, educational, and fundraising activities at the Lakewood and Bay Village facilities. Work hours are 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends planned in advance. You will float between Lakewood and Bay Village locations, coordinating volunteers and event setups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, develop, and organize a full schedule of programs and activities with residents and community members
• Collaborate with Executive Director on tracking expenses, revenue for all activities, and evaluate activities yearly
• Work with Executive Director to ensure funds are available to implement and execute activities
• Manage and maintain all stores open to the public
• Coordinate volunteer activities directly related to activities and event planning and manage and schedule all the above stores and shops
• Attend regularly scheduled weekly supervisory meetings, once a week team meeting, once a month team meetings, and once a month full staff meetings
• Lift, move, setup, and take down tables, furniture, and event displays, handle occasional weekend programs, and social projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
