Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association in El Paso, Texas, seeks a Program Director to lead the community program offerings, recruit and coach volunteers, and build enduring partnerships that expand awareness, education and support across communities.

You will manage a delivery team, mobilize volunteers, plan budgets and grants, and travel up to 60% to engage underrepresented communities, with a bachelor’s degree and 7 years of volunteer mobilization experience required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Masters preferred.
• 7 years of experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Experience in community health and community volunteer mobilization a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to recruit, coach, and manage volunteers.
• Build a volunteer-led portfolio of Community Program Offerings to meet Care & Support goals.
• Secure donor relationships, grant funders and other revenue streams.
• Apply best practices in community engagement and volunteer activation.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and manage budgets
