Qualifications

• Associates Degree Or Equivalent Required, Bachelor's Preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for past three years.
• Combination of education and training related to public relations or non-profit program administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing, planning, and coordination of all aspects of events, including off-site adoptions, foster care, volunteer, and rescue placements.
• Coordinates animal placement programs including transfers to other shelters; performs behavioral evaluations.
• Takes digital pictures of animals up for adoption and keeps websites updated.
• Develops media/social media and educational materials for community programs.
• Provides excellent customer service and builds relationships with the public and staff.
• Prepares monthly statistical reports on department programs.
