Job summary

Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is seeking a CTHCA Prevention Specialist to work in Keller/Inchelium, WA. The role focuses on substance abuse prevention through education, alternative activities, information dissemination, and community engagement with schools and civic groups.

The position requires coordinating budgets, leading community forums, and developing media campaigns with partners to address opioid use and other drugs. Some travel and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with prevention programs and collaborations with schools and community groups.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets for program activities.
• Ability to coordinate community forums and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate substance abuse prevention services in schools and communities.
• Collaborate with schools, parent-teacher groups, civic organizations, and other youth and community groups.
• Develop and implement work plans with regional subcontractors for PSE initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and prepare quarterly and annual reports.
• Coordinate 3–4 community forums and participate in external meetings.
• Provide in-service training and represent the program at events.
