Job summary

Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is seeking a Prevention Specialist in Nespelem to support culturally responsive prevention programs. You will help develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate activities that reduce risk factors and strengthen protective factors across the community.

The role involves education, outreach, and collaboration with Tribal programs, schools, and community partners, using evidence-based and culturally grounded prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Preferred: degree in behavioral health or related field.
• Driver’s license and eligibility for Tribal Insurance.
• Must complete HIV/AIDS and blood borne pathogen training within 90 days.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of prevention programs.
• Coordinate prevention activities and community-based programming with Tribal partners.
• Engage youth, families, and community members through education and outreach.
• Collaborate with Tribal programs, schools, and health providers to address community needs.
