Job summary

Ephrata National Bank is seeking a Public Relations & Communication Associate to support the development and execution of communication initiatives that enhance the bank’s brand, reputation, and community presence.

This role coordinates community relations and events, assists with internal and external communications, creates content, and coordinates media while ensuring messaging aligns with the bank’s mission.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong storytelling and content development abilities.
• Ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging content for various audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and/or confidentiality as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community relations efforts, sponsorships, and events.
• Represent the bank as a brand ambassador within the community.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and public statements.
• Coordinate media interviews, press events, and community announcements.
• Monitor media coverage and community reputation.
• Manage social media calendar and channels.
• Create content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
• Ensure consistent brand voice across customer-facing channels.
• Support product launches, campaigns, and community initiatives with strategic messaging.
• Collaborate with bank-wide departments to promote services, financial education, and brand awareness.
• Draft communications, announcements, and presentations.
• Support internal messaging to inform and engage employees and support organizational initiatives.
• Ensure communications are cohesive and compliant with banking regulations.
