Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Community Porter in Marble Falls, TX to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the apartment community. You will keep common areas tidy, assist with basic landscaping, and help move-in readiness of vacant units.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable with outdoor tasks and basic repair duties. Safety-minded teammates ensure a welcoming, well-maintained environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in groundskeeping, janitorial services, or general maintenance preferred.
• Basic cleaning techniques and landscaping knowledge preferred.
• General handyman abilities with tools and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry, mail areas, and pools.
• Perform trash pickup on property grounds and around dumpsters.
• Sweep, pressure wash, and blow breezeways, sidewalks, stairwells, and parking lots.
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks such as weeding, raking, and watering.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by cleaning patios and removing debris.
• Support maintenance team with minor tasks (bulbs, drains, event setups).

This role supports resident satisfaction by ensuring common areas, amenities, and outdoor spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming. This work requires regularly moving throughout the property, including accessing stairs, ladders, and confined spaces, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.* Role involves frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks.
