Job summary

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will help prepare and dispense medications, assist patients with prescriptions, insurance questions, and access to patient assistance programs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Florida Pharmacy Technician registration, at least one year of retail experience, and experience with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current registration as a Florida Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience with prescription insurance claims and third-party billing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with processing, preparing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Receive prescriptions and refill requests; ensure data is complete before entry.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles including allergies, meds, and insurance.
• Process insurance claims and troubleshoot third-party rejections.
• Support inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and shortages.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.
