Job summary

Sona Pharmacies in North Carolina is seeking a Pharmacist to serve our community with patient care ranging from immunizations to counseling, while mentoring technicians, interns, front-end staff, and drivers.

Active NC pharmacist license is required; PharmD degree or residency is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses prescribed medications and advises OTC therapies per standards and laws.
• Directs staff in counting, filling, packaging, labeling, and delivering medications.
• Oversees daily ordering and inventory management.
• Reviews prescriptions for accuracy and therapy appropriateness.
• Certified to provide immunization services (CPR certified).
• Meets with patients/caregivers to discuss medication management and adherence.
