Job summary

Sona Pharmacy in North Carolina is seeking a Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care, immunizations, and medication consultations within our community. You will mentor technicians, interns, front-end staff, and drivers while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD degree and/or residency training preferred.
• Active license to practice in North Carolina.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, flexibility and work ethic.
• Customer service-oriented and highly organized.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses prescribed medications and advises on appropriate OTC therapies according to standards and laws.
• Directs staff in counting, filling, packaging, labeling, and delivering medications.
• Oversees daily ordering and participates in inventory management.
• Reviews prescriptions for accuracy and therapy suitability.
• Certified to provide immunization services to walk-in patients (active CPR preferred).
• Meet with patients and caregivers to discuss medication issues and adherence.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with physicians and other health professionals.
