Job summary

Wegner CPAs partners with a well-established independent community pharmacy in the Greater Madison area, offering practice with professional autonomy and a healthier work-life balance. The role emphasizes building relationships with patients, supervising technicians, and immunizations in a collaborative, non-bureaucratic environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with flexibility and every other Saturday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM; Sundays and major holidays are closed.

Qualifications

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin or eligible.
  • APhA Immunization Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Previous pharmacy management experience welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately.
  • Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Administer immunizations.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
  • Perform non-sterile compounding as needed.
  • Assist with adherence packaging and unit-dose medication programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Deliver outstanding, patient-centered care each day.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
