Job summary

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist degree required (PharmD or BS in Pharmacy).
  • Active Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Immunization certification preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and sound professional judgment.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
  • Experience with PioneerRx or similar pharmacy management systems preferred.
  • Interest in preventative health and nutraceuticals is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and evaluate medication orders for safety, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
  • Provide patient counseling and medication education to support positive health outcomes.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
  • Administer immunizations and support clinical pharmacy initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
  • Assist with inventory management, controlled substance compliance, and pharmacy quality initiatives.
  • Support, mentor, and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to promote an efficient and patient‑centered workflow.
  • Promote pharmacy services, wellness programs, and proactive healthcare solutions.
