Job summary

The City of Aurora, CO is seeking a dynamic Personal Trainer to design tailored exercise programs for individuals and small groups within our PROS recreation facilities. You will assess fitness levels, craft personalized plans, and deliver engaging instruction to help residents achieve healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of teaching fitness classes or personal training, a high school diploma, CPR/AED certification, and knowledge of fitness equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of teaching fitness classes or personal training experience.
• Strong ability to instruct and motivate individuals and groups.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead personalized exercise programs for individuals and small groups.
• Conduct assessments and recommend improvements for client health.
• Communicate effectively with clients and fitness staff.
• Oversee proper and safe use of fitness equipment.
• Adapt plans for injuries or health issues as needed.
• Motivate participants and ensure safe, efficient workouts.
