Job summary

The Donor Network Inc. seeks a Community Engagement Liaison to advance the organization’s mission across South Florida by cultivating and sustaining partnerships with DMV/TC offices, schools, libraries, and local partners.

The role supports education programs, donor family activities, and the volunteer program, coordinating events and outreach across six counties including Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and more.

Qualifications

• Maintain confidentiality when handling donor information and sensitive information.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with DMV/TC, educational institutions, libraries, community leaders/government officials and local businesses.
• Coordinate DMV/TC office visits and schedule monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly visits including volunteers.
• Lead health education for students and engage with educators to promote donation education programs.
• Promote and support the community volunteer program and events.

Responsibilities

• Educate and motivate DMV/TC staff to provide accurate, positive donation information to customers.
• Coordinate with DMV/TC supervisors to schedule monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly office visits, including volunteers.
• Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and health teachers.
• Provide education sessions for middle/high schools and colleges/universities as requested.
• Participate in DLF Youth Education committee as appropriate.
• Promote the volunteer program and coordinate volunteer presence for events and education.
