Job summary

The University of Georgia Office of Service-Learning (OSL) seeks a Community Partnerships Coordinator to coordinate and expand an after-school literacy and sports coaching program in Athens. You will lead efforts with schools, community partners and UGA students to grow participation and impact.

Lead supervision of graduate assistants and student volunteers, develop training, assess program outcomes, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience working in an educational or community-based setting serving youth or college-aged students is preferred.
• Experience managing volunteers and coordinating programs is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and to report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the after-school program.
• Supervise graduate assistants and Lead Success Coaches.
• Manage student workers and volunteers.
• Facilitate UGA service-learning projects and recruit student volunteers.
• Develop and deliver training for UGA students in the program.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate program success.
