The Hub Coordinator provides administrative support and oversees food pantry operations to ensure the needs of the community are met. Overall, the Hub Coordinator contributes to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.

1. Provide efficient, community focused, high quality administrative services that support CHS business and operations.

  • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Perform reception duties, when needed, to include:
    • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate person/department,
    • Preparing, sorting and distributing mail,
    • Accepting deliveries, and
    • Screening people for facility access.
  • Schedule and manage appointments and meetings.
  • Maintain and update office supply inventory.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate communication and workflow.
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized.

Oversee daily operations of the school food pantry to ensure the needs of the community are met while ensuring resources are used effectively.

  • Manage inventory of food and non-food items, including ordering, receiving and organizing stock.
  • Coordinate with food donors, local businesses and community organizations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for food distribution to ensure efficiency and compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, distribution and other relevant data.
  • Develop and monitor budget and financial reports.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pantry facilities.
  • Promote the pantry services through outreach and community engagement activities.
  • Assist and oversee volunteer assignments for the school pantry, clothes closet and resource desk.

2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.

  • Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
  • Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
  • Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary.
  • Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties.

Job Qualifications

Education, Licenses & Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.

Experience:

Knowledge of:

  • ADMINISTRATION |VARIOUS COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Skills & proficiency in:

  • Planning, organization and time management, oral and written communication,

  • Computer systems and MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
