Job summary

Access Services is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to coordinate Community Participation Supports, lead a team, and provide direct care in homes and communities. The role includes onboarding, coaching, and ensuring program compliance while implementing each Plan of Care and Person-Centered Support Plan.

Regular travel is essential to serve Lehighton, Pottsville, and Bartonsville areas. A reliable vehicle and driving history are required; mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, special education, counseling, social work or gerontology preferred.
• Two years of direct care experience required.
• Certification as CAN, RBT or BCABA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor with onboarding, training, and client coverage needs.
• Promote and support current human services philosophies.
• Ensure compliance with local, county, and state regulations.
• Coach DSPs on performance and foster a positive team culture.
• Provide direct support in homes and the community as assigned by the Supervisor.
