Job summary

Four Seasons Care in Haywood County, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care consultations and treatment to seriously ill patients, with support from a collaborative physician.

You will participate in family counseling, manage symptoms, take clinical calls, document records, and work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans; licensure and ongoing education are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold NP or PA board certification and current NC license.
• Experience in palliative care is preferred.
• Two years post-education experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care consultations and treatment to seriously ill patients with a collaborative physician.
• Participate in patient and family counseling and manage symptoms in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Take clinical calls for palliative care clients and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintain licensure and pursue ongoing medical education as required.
