AmeriCorps VISTA in Nebraska fulfills the mission of NCAEDC to promote business attraction, creation, retention and expansion while enhancing quality of life in Nebraska City. The VISTA member will work on data gathering, research, marketing, special events and projects to strengthen outreach and service delivery for rural communities.

Responsibilities include developing in-house efficiencies, cataloging potential development partners, and supporting training to increase skills and program

Qualifications

Experience in community development or nonprofit settings preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
Ability to work with diverse communities and partners.
Comfort with data gathering, research, and program reporting.

Responsibilities

Conduct research to streamline program services and improve outreach delivery.
Assist with data gathering, marketing and event coordination.
Develop partnerships and help revise program manuals for efficiency.
