Job summary

Nebraska Afghan Community Center (NACC) in Omaha seeks a VISTA Community Engagement Specialist to build a structured social media framework and sustainable outreach aligned with NACC's marketing plan.

You will create content, manage accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), develop a content calendar, engage with the community, and document processes to ensure continued impact after the service term ends.

Qualifications

• Public Speaking and community organization experience required.
• Experience in non-profit management and communications is preferred.
• Strong writing/editing skills and empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Content creation for social media posts, images, and videos.
• Manage social media accounts across multiple platforms.
• Create and implement a content calendar for consistent posting.
• Engage with comments, messages, and reviews.
• Monitor analytics and adjust content strategy.
• Create and manage social media ads to reach target audiences.
