Job summary

Alpha Health Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated Program Specialist to support the Office of Developmental Programs services. This role blends community outreach, referral development, participant coordination, DSP supervision, and operational support to ensure high-quality, person-centered services.

The ideal candidate will build strong community relationships, generate referrals, coordinate intake, supervise DSPs, and help maintain compliance and program reporting across assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in ODP or intellectual disability/human services preferred.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania ODP waiver services preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, networking, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to supervise DSPs and coordinate staffing coverage.
• Ability to develop professional relationships and pursue new referrals.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across service areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Referral development with SCOs, families, and partners.
• Community outreach through in-person visits and events.
• Coordinate participant intake and initiation of services.
• Provide day-to-day DSP supervision and address staffing concerns.
• Coordinate replacement staff for call-offs and scheduling gaps.
• Monitor authorized hours and document barriers and actions.
• Support ISP implementation, rights, and incident reporting.
• Maintain referral, outreach, staffing, and utilization records for management.
