Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Community Connector in Fall River, MA to support peers and neighbors through outreach, resource navigation, and recovery-focused engagement. You will collaborate with site directors, providers, and community members to improve access to services and opportunities that promote independence and meaningful participation.

• Lived experience with mental health recovery is valued.
• Commitment to community outreach and helping others access local resources.

Responsibilities

• Serves as role model, mentor, teacher, advocate, and ally to support participation in the community.
• Facilitates groups and activities in the community.
• Educates the person about community resources and services.
• Fosters independence, hope, inspiration, and a sense of community.
• Collaborates with RLC staff to facilitate the person’s participation in community groups and activities.
• Helps participants access resources in their local community to support recovery.
• Promotes teamwork and positive outcomes.
