Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking an Outreach Specialist in New Jersey to deepen community awareness of energy efficiency programs. You will develop relationships with local organizations and present program details at events across the territory.

The role involves coordinating meetings, creating outreach materials with Marketing, staff at events, and tracking results in Salesforce while reporting to the Outreach Manager. Weekend work and strong public speaking are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience identifying and developing relationships with community organizations.
• Experience with event planning from initiation through post-event follow up and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for uploading to SharePoint.
• Strong customer service and proficient in public speaking.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with local partner organizations to share program updates and cross-promote resources.
• Researching community events, securing events, coordinating logistics and staffing.
• Creating and staff direct-to-customers outreach opportunities including meetings and presentations.
• Tracking results in Salesforce and reporting to management.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for Outreach Manager.
