Job summary

Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking an Outreach & Programming LA3 to expand the library's reach and engage diverse communities through in-library and off-site programming under the supervision of the Outreach & Programming Supervisor.

Responsibilities include developing programs for all ages, designing outreach events, and fostering partnerships to promote library services and literacy across Sumter County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MLIS/MLS preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement library programs for all ages.
• Design outreach events and tailor programs to community needs.
• Represent the library at community events and promote services.
• Engage with patrons and provide information and instruction.
• Cultivate partnerships with community organizations and schools.
