Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic Charities mission and Catholic Social Teaching.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in community outreach, nonprofit, volunteer engagement, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with databases and scheduling/communication platforms preferred.
• Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and other required training.
• Employees not required to be Catholic but must represent the Archdiocesan Church appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Catholic parishes and other religious groups across 21 counties.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities for volunteerism, internships, donations, education, and engagement.
• Represent Catholic Charities at events and community gatherings.
• Develop partnerships and outreach opportunities in rural communities.
