Job summary

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is seeking an Outreach and Enrollment Assistor to educate patients about healthcare access and insurance enrollment, explain the portal, and assist with enrollment. This role collaborates with the O&E Specialist for community outreach and events to reach more constituents.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, experience with health insurance options, and CAC certification or willingness to obtain CAC within 2 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with community resources and program navigation.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on health insurance options and enrollment via Health Insurance Market and portal.
• Provide structured, accurate patient education on coverage and renewal assistance.
• Attend community events to facilitate education and enrollment activities.
• Assist in completing Sliding Fee Applications and explain Health Center policies.
• Schedule O&E appointments at clinics and coordinate outreach efforts with partners.
