Calaveras Crisis Center is seeking a part-time Community Outreach Educator to provide education and resources on domestic violence and sexual assault to students, families, and community members in Calaveras County. The role focuses on school collaborations, program development, and presenting information in a clear, engaging manner.
Responsibilities include documentation, maintaining educational materials, and coordinating with schools.
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Community Outreach Educator is responsible for providing education and resources relating to domestic violence and sexual assault to school aged children, their parents and community members in Calaveras County. The Outreach Educator will work extensively with schools within Calaveras County and will be responsible for program development and presentation. The Outreach Educator will maintain clear documentation of all educational presentations and their attendance as well as maintain educational materials. The Calaveras Crisis Center provides services for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition, The Crisis Center offers advocacy and counseling for child victims of crime in local schools.
