Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Time Behavioral Healthcare Sales Associate. Associate starting at $75k, Coordinator starting at $87k, with compensation commensurate with experience. This consultative sales opportunity supports the Recovery Village, an integrated behavioral healthcare management company that treats individuals with primary substance abuse and co‑occurring mental health disorders. The Community Outreach team manages a book of business in an assigned territory, partnering with referral sources such as hospitals, counselors, therapists, treatment centers, attorneys, and other professional organizations to connect patients with appropriate treatment locations.

Responsibilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior management, physicians, clinicians, admissions, and the business development team.
  • Assists in creating and strengthening referral relationships.
  • Plans and organizes onsite facility‑specific events, tours, and quarterly CEU presentations.
  • Identifies local speaking opportunities, facilitates speaker submissions, and ensures presence at all community events.
  • Coordinates alumni events and activities, builds and maintains the alumni database, and follows up with calls as needed.
  • Works with the alumni coordinator to maximize opt‑ins, event participation, and online reviews from patients, families, and referral sources.
  • Builds rapport with current patients while onsite.
  • Hosts quarterly alumni events in the territory and plans larger events biannually if necessary.
  • Communicates consistently with Case Management, DOA, Ops, Clinical, and Medical teams.
  • Participates in Family Weekend attendance/participation sessions.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exercises professional judgment and discretion.
  • Knowledge of the treatment industry is a plus.
  • Effectively uses Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Exhibits excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate cross‑functionally with senior levels of management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Coordinator Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, sales, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in business development, referral relations, or relationship management required.
  • Experience in the behavioral healthcare industry preferred.
  • Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards.
Associate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, sales, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year’s experience in business development, referral relations, or relationship management required.
  • Experience in the behavioral healthcare industry preferred.
  • Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards.
