Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music preferred, or extensive experience teaching music.
• Minimum of two years’ music experience with children/adults. Performance experience preferred.
• No certifications/licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Lead music and arts programs within the corps; plan weekly music lesson curricula.
• Plan and attend all recitals; prep corps music programs for year-end concert.
• Encourage participants to develop musical abilities and self-esteem; promote positive activities.
• Organize musical performances and community activities to raise awareness of the corps mission.
• Encourage summer camp participation and planning for divisional and day camps.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
