Job summary

ONSIDE is seeking compassionate Community Mental Health Link Workers to join its Community Mental Health Service, supporting individuals with severe mental ill health. You will work with Mental Health Neighbourhood Teams and partners to help navigate services and build coping strategies for better wellbeing.

This role involves travel across Worcestershire, flexible hours, and a supportive environment focused on recovery, empowerment and equality.

Qualifications

• Essential mental health, wellbeing or support-related qualification or training.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in mental health or wellbeing.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key access point for community support and signposting.
• Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Provide one-to-one support using evidence-based approaches to wellbeing.
• Help access community activities, services and peer support.
• Coordinate navigation of primary and secondary mental health services.
• Work with teams and partners to provide integrated support.
• Identify wider issues affecting health and wellbeing and address them.
• Facilitate self-help interventions and escalation when needed.
• Manage and prioritise a caseload with responsive support.
• Maintain accurate records using approved case management systems.
