Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Mental Health Professional I - ACT to deliver community-based counseling and support for individuals with serious mental illness. The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, treatment planning, and collaborative care within the ACT team.

Qualifications

• Must meet ACT fidelity requirement for Mental Health Professional.
• Must be able to lift 5lbs and operate a state vehicle.
• Position is essential and may be called back during crises/disasters/emergencies.
• Requires flexible schedule.
• Services are delivered in the community and patients' homes.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MHP counseling to ACT beneficiaries in the community and patients' homes.
• Ensure patients are seen per LOC guidelines and meet care hour standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and outcomes measures per procedures.
• Adhere to applicable policies, codes of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in supervision, treatment teams, and continuing professional development.
• Support CARF accreditation efforts for the patient care area and Center.
