Job summary

The Granville, a senior affordable housing community in Phoenix, is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee operations and ensure HUD/LIHTC compliance.

Join Celtic Property Management to lead an onsite team, drive occupancy, manage budgets and inspections, and deliver outstanding resident service with accountability and professionalism. This is not an entry‑level role; the ideal candidate has HUD/LIHTC experience and a proven track record in property management.

Qualifications

  • Has 2+ years of Community Manager experience in HUD and/or LIHTC affordable housing.
  • Understands HUD regulations, EIV, HOTMA, and affordable housing compliance.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Leads with accountability and professionalism.
  • Is comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Is proficient in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of community operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with HUD, LIHTC, HOTMA, Fair Housing, and company policies.
  • Complete certifications, annual and interim recertifications, and EIV processing accurately and on time.
  • Prepare for MORs, REAC inspections, and file audits with confidence.
  • Lead and develop onsite team through coaching, accountability, and training.
  • Drive occupancy goals through effective leasing, resident retention, and marketing efforts.
  • Oversee rent collections, subsidy payments, budgeting, invoice approvals, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with maintenance to ensure work orders, turns, and preventive maintenance are completed timely.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while resolving resident concerns professionally.
  • Maintain organized records and submit all required reports accurately and on time.

Are you an experienced HUD Community Manager who knows compliance inside and out? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead by example, and take ownership without being micromanaged?

Requirements

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who:

  • Has 2+ years of Community Manager experience in HUD and/or LIHTC affordable housing.
  • Understands HUD regulations, EIV, HOTMA, and affordable housing compliance.

  • Leads with accountability and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications
  • HUD and/or LIHTC Certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred by not required
