Job summary

Dominium, a leading affordable housing development and management company, seeks a Community Manager for Matlock Flats in Arlington, TX. You will oversee day-to-day operations, maximize occupancy, and maintain strong resident relations across the 192-unit community.

The role requires coordinating with staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with housing programs. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in multifamily property management, a 2-year degree (4-year preferred), and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; second language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize occupancy, collections, appearance, resident retention, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with residents and staff.
• Supervise on-site personnel and coordinate with contractors/vendors.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and accounting procedures per policy.
• Oversee move-ins/outs, lease processing, and the eviction workflow as needed.
• Respond to resident concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
