Community Manager (Part-Time, U.S. Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Community Manager to support and grow our online community. This role is critical to driving engagement, retention, and upsells within our paid communities.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day community operations, creating engagement initiatives, and ensuring members consistently see value from being part of our ecosystem.

This is a U.S.-based, remote, part-time role (25 hours/week) ideal for someone who thrives in community-building, enjoys creative thinking, and understands how strong communities directly impact revenue and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and moderate our online community to ensure a high-quality, engaging member experience
  • Lead and execute community initiatives, challenges, and engagement campaigns that drive participation and retention
  • Build and manage the community within Mighty Networks, including organizing content, posts, events, and discussions
  • Proactively engage members through posts, comments, direct outreach, and announcements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support launches, promotions, and upsell opportunities
  • Write clear, engaging educational copy for posts, challenges, announcements, and community resources
  • Analyze engagement trends and continuously test creative ideas to improve participation and monetization
  • Act as the voice of the community by surfacing feedback, insights, and opportunities to leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in community management (paid or professional communities preferred)
  • Hands‑on experience using Mighty Networks as a community builder or manager
  • Demonstrated ability to design and lead community initiatives, challenges, and engagement strategies
  • Experience writing educational or instructional copy
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking with the ability to think outside the box
  • Experience—or strong intuition—around driving upsells and deeper engagement within communities
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation & Work Structure
  • $40/hour
