Motion Recruitment is seeking a Social Media Community Engagement Manager in Mountain View, CA for a 9-month W2 contract with benefits. The role is hybrid, onsite 3 days a week, and focuses on engaging consumers across Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube and Threads.

You will develop brand playbooks, drive positive online interactions, and build trusted online communities for the company brands.

Job description

Our client, a leader in providing financial technology software, is hiring a Social Media Community Engagement Manager in Mountain View, CA! This is a Hybrid role; you will be On-Site 3 days a week!

*This is a 9-month W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays! *

In this role, you will support the Consumer Group Communications team, along with two brands of social media channels by posting in relevant media threads and driving word of mouth with positive online interactions. You will be developing brand playbooks for media engagement, and creating a positive representation of the company in the online space.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Actively engage with consumers across key social channels (e.g., Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Threads) on behalf of the company brands to drive positive word-of-mouth and build positive brand sentiment.
• Grow company subreddits into active, trusted communities and leverage brand personas to build trust on Reddit.
• Contribute to the development of brand playbooks for how to show up in each community: when to post, when to reply, when to stay silent.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years in community management
• Experience with Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Threads
• Sprinklr Experience

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Prior experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or SaaS
