Job description

The Role

This isn\'t a traditional community manager role. You\'ll be the connective tissue between our organization and the creators we serve. One part strategic advisor, one part executor, one part right hand to leadership. We\'re early-stage, which means your fingerprints will be on everything, and the ability to take an idea and run with it matters more than a perfectly polished resume. This is currently a part time position that could develop into a full time role as we grow.

What You\'ll Do

The work will evolve as we do, but you can expect to:

  • Build and nurture relationships with creators across platforms, understanding their businesses, pain points, and goals at a meaningful level
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for our creator community, someone they genuinely want to talk to
  • Translate creator feedback and insights into actionable recommendations for the team and leadership
  • Jump into whatever needs doing. From drafting communications and planning events to researching partnerships and supporting strategic initiatives
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within our community and proactively propose solutions, without waiting to be asked
  • Support leadership with event and programming coordination, give honest feedback on what is and isn\'t working and follow-through on key priorities
What We\'re Looking For
  • Deep, firsthand familiarity with the creator economy — you understand how creators build audiences, monetize their work, manage brand deals, and think about their futures
  • Strong judgment and the ability to operate independently; you figure things out, then get them done
  • A natural relationship-builder who creators trust and want to engage with
  • Comfortable context-switching between strategic thinking and heads-down execution
  • Clear, warm communicator — in writing, in conversation, and everywhere in between
  • Genuine alignment with our mission; you care about helping creators succeed - and in changing the world - not just about the content space broadly
Nice to Have
  • Personal experience as a creator or working directly with creators (management, partnerships, brand side, etc.)
  • Familiarity with nonprofit operations or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience at an early-stage organization or startup
