Job summary

NorthPoint Development is seeking a Community Manager to lead maintenance and leasing teams, monitor finances, and drive occupancy at our multi-family properties. You will ensure exceptional customer service, oversee owner reporting, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in property management software and a drive to foster a collaborative, inclusive community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license needed.
• Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.

• Ability to own and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance and Leasing teams to deliver top-notch service.
• Monitor operating expenses and community income.
• Manage billing information and invoicing processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly owner reports.
• Oversee leasing, tours, and move-in processes to maintain occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and relevant regulations.
• Schedule staff and oversee marketing initiatives.
• Represent NorthPoint at events and committees and encourage volunteering.
• Address resident issues to sustain satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training for the team and peers.
• Regularly walk properties and vacant units.

What You'll Do

• Lead Maintenance and Leasing teams to ensure top notch customer service and curb appeal
• Monitor community income and operating expenses
• Manage and maintain customer billing information
• Review and process accounts payable (invoicing) for processing
• Responsible for weekly and monthly owner reporting
• Responsible for the financial performance of the community
• Oversee leasing, touring, move in processes along with maintaining occupancy at the community
• Ensures the community and staff follows Fair Housing regulations nationally/locally and other laws governing Multi-Family operations
• Approve and oversee staff schedule
• Oversee and implement the market survey, monthly marketing plans and outreach marketing
• Attend manager meetings, networking events, and represent Northpoint in AAKC committees, volunteering and events
• Ensure that employees are able to "Live Generously" and encourage volunteering
• Resolve resident issues to ensure resident satisfaction
• Provide continual training opportunities for the community team and peers.
• Walk buildings, vacant units and property regularly or as required
• Any other additional tasks that are required

Who You Are

• High School Diploma, GED or related experience and/or training
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Organized and have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Have a background with superior customer service
• Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills
• Ability to take ownership of any task assigned
• Confident and knowledgeable when interacting with all team members & outside parties
• Able to work collaboratively as a team and independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google applications
• Entrata/Yardi experience is a plus along with familiarity of Blue Moon lease
• Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
