Job summary

Halverson and Blaiser Group, Ltd. is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the total on-site operation of assigned communities. You will manage administration, maintenance, security, financial tracking, and reporting under the Regional Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in property management, and proficiency with standard office software. Yardi Voyager experience is preferred and occasional evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in Property Management.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain highest occupancy possible.
  • Walk notice apartments when resident turns in notice.
  • Prepare for move-ins, renovations, and turns timely.
  • Prepare written reports and logs for Regional Manager.
  • Submit weekly and month-end reports to Regional Manager.
  • Monitor advertising sources (internet, print ads, locator services).
  • Handle resident concerns and enforce lease agreements and policies.
  • Prepare rent documents (non-payment, UD, etc.).
  • Oversee and mentor site staff; supervise contracted services and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets.
