Job description

Community Manager – Build the Future of IT Collaboration

Are you passionate about turning passive users into active collaborators? Do you thrive in environments where creativity meets structure and where tech professionals can inspire each other through shared success? If so, this Community Manager role could be your next career-defining move.

The Opportunity

This is not a typical forum moderation role. As Community Manager, you’ll lead the transformation of a global software company’s customer community—from a support-focused forum into an ecosystem where IT professionals share real-world solutions, celebrate innovation, and build their careers.

You’ll be the driving force behind “Community 2.0,” crafting spaces and programs that shift the dialogue from troubleshooting to collaboration, peer learning, and storytelling. Reporting into the Product organisation and sitting within the Ecosystem team, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and partner networks to connect people, content, and opportunity.

What’s On Offer
  • Base salary: $130,000 - $150,000

  • 20 days vacation + 3 personal days

  • Comprehensive health insurance

  • Wellness and learning stipends

  • 401k
Your Mission
  • Lead the community’s evolution from a reactive support space to a proactive collaboration hub.

  • Design and execute recognition and certification programs that spotlight and reward community contributors.

  • Ignite peer-to-peer storytelling that brings the company’s technology asset intelligence (TAI) vision to life.

  • Collaborate across teams and partners, linking community insights with product roadmaps, marketing initiatives, and go-to-market activities.

  • Track community health, and measure what matters: inspiration, collaboration, and contribution—not just ticket deflection.

You’ll Excel If You Bring:
  • Proven experience managing or growing builder or developer communities—not just moderating forums.

  • Strategic thinking and a builder mindset—this is about creation, not administration.

  • Hands‑on familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Strong grasp of community metrics, governance, and recognition mechanisms.

  • An ecosystem perspective—you see how users, partners, and internal teams connect through shared value.

Bonus Points For:
  • Background in SaaS, marketplaces, or ecosystem‑led growth environments.

  • Experience launching gamification, analytics, or ambassador programs.

  • Storytelling skills that connect technical depth with real‑world impact.

This is a rare chance to architect a next-generation community that blends technical depth, peer inspiration, and ecosystem thinking. If you're excited by the idea of helping IT professionals solve meaningful problems together—this is your platform.
