Allied Orion Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a Community Manager to lead the on-site operations of a multi-family property. You will oversee leasing, marketing, resident relations, and ensure adherence to company policies, Fair Housing laws, and applicable regulations.

You will supervise the on-site staff, maximize property income, monitor expenses, and prepare accurate, timely reports while maintaining excellent service and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-family property management is required.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing, OSHA, EEOC, and local ordinances.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a multi-family property.
  • Generate and maximize property income while controlling expenses.
  • Monitor financial statements and prepare on-time reports.
  • Supervise the on-site staff and ensure policy compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, EEOC, and local laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Manages and coordinates team members’ daily activities and ensures the operations of the property complies with the Company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, and other applicable laws and regulations governing multifamily housing operations.

REPORTS TO

Regional Property Supervisor, Regional Vice President and Vice President, Owner and/or Owner’s representative of Allied Orion Group.

SUPERVISES

Entire on-site staff.

  • All functions related to multi-family Property Leasing
  • All functions related to multi-family Property Marketing
  • All functions related to multi-family Resident Relations
  • Generate and maximize property income
  • Monitor, maintain and control property expenses
  • Accurate and on-time submission of all reports
  • Understand, analyze and correct property financial statements and reports
  • Monitor, supervise and direct entire property team
  • Adhere to all federal, state and local employment law as well as Company’s HR policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education And Training
DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and 1 to 2 years of experience in multi-family property management.
TRAINING/CERTIFICATES/ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
  • Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • Active/participatory apartment association membership preferred.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Proven employment history of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operations.
  • Supervisory skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct and evaluate on-site team members.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors and clients.
  • Mathematical skills are required.
  • Proficiency in using property management software(s) used by the Company, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) in order to complete required reports and employment documents.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, property management software(s), as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA Requirements, EEOC Laws, and Local, City and State Ordinances.
